On Wednesday, May 21st, the results of The Annual Japan Sake Awards for the Reiwa 6 (2024-2025) brewing year were announced. Fukushima Prefecture had <30 entries> receive the "Award-winning sake" distinction, and <16 entries> were chosen for the "Gold Prize"! 🎖️✨
We tied with Hyogo Prefecture for the most Gold Prizes by prefecture, achieving the number one spot in Japan! 🎊
To celebrate \Winning the Most Gold Prizes in Japan/, a commemorative ceremony was held at Fukushima Machinaka Square. Complimentary sake was served at the ceremony, sharing the charm of Fukushima sake with many people 🍶
