Fukushima Farmer's Dream Wine is a craft winery founded by local farmers in the Towa district of Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, in 2012.
The challenge of grape cultivation and winemaking was taken on with the goals of resolving the issue of abandoned farmland locally and producing wine aimed at younger people.
We operate as a "Farmers' Brand," where the farmers who produce the ingredients handle 100% of the process, from brewing to sales. We are committed to consistent product creation, overseeing every step of the process, and making products where the producers' presence is felt.

Nurtured by the rich climate of the Abukuma Plateau, local farmers are engaged in simple yet robust winemaking.
The starting point was the dream of eight farmers who gathered together: "We want to produce our own beverages". This desire, coupled with the wish to revitalize a region facing depopulation, led to the start of their challenge in winemaking in late 2010.
However, due to The Great East Japan Earthquake the following year, even the 50-year-old apple farmers were forced to dispose of all their harvested apples. Saying, "It would be a waste; let's make fruit wine with these apples," they began making cider, which immediately sold out.
This area was once prosperous as a sericulture region. Because it was a pesticide-free mulberry field, it had excellent drainage, making it suitable for grape cultivation.
They began planting seedlings the year after the earthquake, and grapes suited to Japan's climate, such as Yamasauvignon and Muscat Bailey A, are growing well 🍇✨.
"For 14 years since our founding, precisely because we are a small winery, we have advanced step by step. We will continue to evolve with the community and make wines that draw out the potential of the grapes," says Representative Kazumi Endo.
