Handa Ginzan Brewery is a craft beer brewery that opened in the summer of 2020. We utilize the rich nature of the fruit kingdom of Fukushima and the specialties nurtured there to carefully handcraft each craft beer. The ingredients we use, mainly fruits carefully grown by local farmers, preserve the seasonal flavor and aroma exactly as they are. The beer, which maximizes the natural flavor, has a mellow and warm finish. This is not just craft beer; it embodies "Fukushima's 'deliciousness' and the 'passion for hand-making'." Through our beer, we promote the local charm and deliver memorable, special moments to local residents and visitors alike.

Located in Koori Town, Date District, Fukushima Prefecture. The brand name "SOLDER CRAFT" combines "Solder" (the technique of joining things together) with the name of "Handa Ginzan," a silver mine that flourished in the area from the Edo through the Meiji periods. Utilizing local natural resources, history, and specialty products, this handmade craft beer aims to connect people and the community.
It all started with the desire to contribute to the community, cherished by the owner Mr. Yamauchi, a native of Koori Town. In a region rich with historic sites linked to the Date clan, craft beer brewing was launched to spread a local alcohol culture.
The head brewer is Mr. Shosuke Suzuki, born in 1992 and also a native of Koori Town. After training at a brewery in Ibaraki for a year, he opened Handa Ginzan Brewery in July 2020. The following month, the adjacent beer restaurant "UWAMACHI UCHEERS" was established.
The flagship products are "Ōrin Pale Ale," made with "Ōrin" apples originating from Koori Town, and "Akatsuki," made with the renowned imperial gift peaches "Akatsuki" 🍑. With a light, easy-drinking flavor profile, they are popular even among craft beer beginners. At the JGBA 2022 (Japan Great Beer Awards), "Ōrin Pale Ale" won the Silver Award, and "Handa Ginzan IPA" received the Bronze Award 🏅.
The restaurant consistently offers about 8 types of beer on tap. Their signature dish is "Beer Chiki," fried chicken marinated in beer 🍗.
The venue welcomes approximately 14,000 visitors annually. Starting with this facility, nearby additions like supermarkets and glamping sites have emerged, gradually restoring vibrancy to the town. With the wish for people to fall in love with this town, the brewery continues to deliver beer that makes full use of local blessings 🍺.
