Homare Shochu

Manufacturing that provides peace, joy, and inspiration. Unique sake brewed by the Kurabito (brewery workers) and science.

This is a sake brewery founded in 1918, with "Aizuhomare" as its representative brand. In addition to Japanese Sake, we also produce unique beverages such as shochu and liqueurs. We offer various types of shochu, including kasutori shochu (distilled from sake lees) and kome shochu (rice shochu) that utilize the brewery's strengths, and kōrui shochu (Grade A shochu) made using the traditional aging method passed down since the time of our founding.
In our brewing, we prioritize three points in pursuit of consistent deliciousness: "ingredient preparation," "reproducibility," and "pasteurization and storage". The manufacturing we envision is the technique of "reproducibility" to continually produce sake of consistent quality. Although this is the most challenging aspect, we strive daily to brew sake that delivers stable deliciousness to everyone, using a scientific approach based on the kurabito's (brewery workers') experience and the analysis of work data.
