2024 Chardonnay and others

2024 Chardonnay and others

Fostering recovery from The Great East Japan Earthquake and building the future for the next 100 years through winemaking.

Tomioka Winery started its activities in wine grape cultivation in 2016 with the support of local townspeople.

Then, in May 2025, the "Tomioka Winery," which includes a brewery, shop, and restaurant, opened in the area east of JR Joban Line Tomioka Station, which was designated as a disaster risk area, and held its "First Batch" and "First Harvest Festival".

We aim to be a winery that not only produces wine on this land but also creates new industries and culture in our lost hometown, weaving them into a "future 100 years from now". Please savor the wine, which features a subtle hint of sea breeze and can only be tasted here, not just as a "beverage" but as a "baton of hope" that continues into the future.

A Winery for Recovery: Winemaking Started from Scratch 🍾 for a Future 100 Years from Now.

In March 2016, ten volunteers gathered in the deserted Tomioka City, which had been affected by the earthquake and the nuclear disaster, and planted 300 grapevine seedlings 🌱.

As if fulfilling the hope entrusted to them, the grapes ripen in a vineyard very close to the sea, receiving the sea breeze 🍇.

The wine, which boasts a unique flavor, is characterized by its light mouthfeel and fruity taste ✨️.
