Chefs Supporting Fukushima Food Camp! 2025 Report: “Tasting Summer Veggies in the Fields at Suzuki Farm in Koriyama”

【Event Report】It was a full house! ✨ An outdoor restaurant tour with Chefs Supporting Fukushima: "Food Camp" in Koriyama 🍽️🍶🍆

On Sunday, September 15th (a public holiday), we held the "Fukushima Support Chef x Koriyama Suzuki Farm" Food Camp to taste summer vegetables right in the fields!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! 👏

◤ Harvesting Koriyama Brand Vegetables ◢
Led by Tomoya Suzuki, the 4th generation owner of Suzuki Farm, we spent time surrounded by nature, harvesting Koriyama brand vegetables like Haikara Rikkun and even lying down in the fields to feel what it's like to be a veggie! 🥬

◤ An Extraordinary Lunch at the Outdoor Field Dining ◢
Chef Tomoki Kato from Catoe and Chef Ryota Hayashi from Wagyu Shunsai A-Un served up amazing dishes featuring incredible ingredients from Fukushima Prefecture, focusing on vegetables from Suzuki Farm 😋🍴
The dishes were paired with Fukushima sake and wine 🍶🍷
Everyone enjoyed chatting with the chefs and producers while dining 🙌

◤ Shopping Time ◢
At the end of the tour, everyone also enjoyed a visit & shopping at Fukushima Ouse Winery and a stop at the Suzuki Farm direct sales shop 🛍️

We have a Soma event scheduled for Sunday, 9/28, and a Kitakata event for Sunday, 11/2 😃 (※Both are currently waitlist only)
We'll keep sharing the wonders of Fukushima ingredients and Fukushima sake 🎤!
